Hogwarts and the Atypical Wizard

Chapter 317: Weekend at Hogsmeade

Chapter 317: Weekend at Hogsmeade

Bagman must have been annoyed by the goblin, and Sainz, with his back turned, heard him say, "Wait a minute, I've met someone I need to discuss something with."

"Hello, Hagrid, hello Mr. Autumn." Bagman came to their table, greeted them, and sat down in a familiar manner.

Sainz was in charge of the banquet arrangements some time ago, and I had dealt with him several times, so he was not a complete stranger.

"Hello, Mr. Bagman." Sainz said hello and said nothing more.

"Hello, Bagman," Hagrid asked casually, "What are those goblins doing around you? They're looking at you like they're afraid you'll run away."

"No... they... they're asking me about Barty Crouch."

Hagrid said immediately, "Then they should go to the Ministry of Magic, why are they here?"

"Um... well," Bagman seemed to be deciding whether to say it, "Crouch is not at the Ministry."

"Not at the Ministry?" Hagrid asked curiously. "Where did he go?"

"To be honest, I don't know. He hasn't come to work for two weeks. All the work has been handed over to the assistant. His assistant is from the Weasley family. He said Crouch is sick."

"Sick?" Hagrid muttered. "Perhaps we should tell Dumbledore about this. They are good friends."

"Oh," Bagman looked around nervously. "Please don't tell anyone, you two. Skeeter is snooping around. She's got her hands on everything. If she finds out, she'll say Crouch is missing like Bertha Jorkins."

Hagrid was curious again, "Who is Bertha Jorkins?"

"That was one of my subordinates. She always had a bad sense of direction and often got lost. This time she went to her cousin's house in Albania. Later, she said she left her cousin's house to visit an aunt, but she lost track of her until now..."

"Didn't you send anyone to look for him?" said Hagrid unhappily.

"Of course we did," Bagman said. "At first we thought she'd come back one day, but she hasn't been seen for months. We've sent people everywhere to look for her, but we can't figure out where she could have gone. She doesn't look like someone who would flee..."

"What if you can't find it?"

"Hagrid," Bagman said gravely, "if we can't find her, we'll have to announce that we think she's trapped somewhere secret, or even... Well, why are we talking about that? I came to you for something else..."

Sainz looked back at the goblins. They were staring at this side closely.

Bagman chatted with Hagrid for a while, and suddenly he mentioned that he had recently discovered a way to make money, and asked Hagrid and Sainz if they were interested in participating.

Sainz and Hagrid shook their heads at the same time to show that they were not interested. He drew a few more cakes in succession, but seeing that the two were indeed not interested, he repeatedly expressed his pity, stood up listlessly and walked quickly towards the door of the bar.

As Bagman stood up, the goblins stood up as well, and they all hurried after him as he ran for the door.

Hagrid looked at the scene in confusion, "Why are the goblins chasing him to ask about Crouch, and why are they chasing him so closely?"

Sainz said jokingly: "Maybe they want a translator? I heard that Mr. Crouch knows more than 200 languages, which is really amazing!"

After that, the two of them didn't mention him anymore, finished their drinks quietly, and prepared to leave.

Just as he was about to go out, he ran into Harry and his gang, "Hi, Hagrid, Sainz, hello!"

"Hello guys," Sainz said, "Go enjoy your weekend."

"That's great, Hagrid!" praised Hermione. "That's what you should do!"

Hagrid blushed a little after being praised, "Thank you, Sainz is right, go and enjoy your weekend."

The two of them had not walked far when they met Professor Moody. "Hello, Professor Moody."

"Hi there," Moody limped over, "I'm going to the bar out front, how are you guys doing?"

"Sorry, we can't accompany you. We just got out of there."

"Look who these are!" Skeeter ran over from a distance in a pretentious manner. A photographer was chasing her. "Come on, Bozo, it doesn't matter if he doesn't want to talk to us. Isn't there better material?"

Hagrid immediately became furious. "Skeeter, where did you hear those reports?"

"People need to know the truth, and I'm good at digging it out!" Skeeter was not afraid of Hagrid at all. "Hurry up, Bozo, take a picture of these three. A former professor, a successor, and the famous Moody. It's not common for the three of them to be able to chat together peacefully."

Moody's magic eyes stared at Skeeter, his zombie-like face expressionless. "Skeeter, I read your report about me carefully, and I really appreciate the description of me being a lunatic."

Skeeter was a little exhausted by Moody's stare. He seemed to be afraid that Moody would suddenly attack and hurt someone. He said calmly, "Bozo, are you done with the photo?"

"Sorry Skeeter, but the camera seems to be broken."

"This is really not the right time," Skeeter shook the quill in his hand pretentiously, "In that case, let's not take pictures for now... By the way, did you see Harry Potter just now?"

"Yes, he went into that bar."

"Let's go, who doesn't like young warriors?" Skeeter led the way to the Three Broomsticks Bar.

"I'm warning you," Moody's eyes flashed with a fascinating light, "Don't bother Harry Potter. If anything goes wrong with him, you will suffer the consequences. Don't say I didn't warn you."

"You threatened me!" Skeeter screamed in exasperation. "Threatened a reporter from the Daily Prophet!"

"Then we'll see!"

Skeeter led her assistant to the bar in a huff, with Moody following closely behind her.

"Sainz..."

"Don't worry about Hagrid, Professor Moody can handle her," Sainz said, "You'd better not let anyone catch you now."

Hagrid turned and walked towards the school, hitting himself in annoyance as he walked, "How stupid!"

Of course, the assistant's camera would not be damaged for no reason. Sainz secretly used magic to destroy it. He did not want to leave any evidence of his happy conversation with the fake Moody. It was not because he was worried about getting into trouble, but because he simply did not like it.

Sainz thought that Skeeter's role had been fulfilled. If she only participated in extracurricular activities and did not come to school, it would be fine. But if she insisted on coming to school, he would have to secretly trip her up.

If you still don't repent, I would have wanted to meet Ye Qi a long time ago!
