Chapter 15 Battle against the Uchiha
In the mundane campus life, even the slightest disturbance spreads like wildfire.
An Yan had just returned to his seat and hadn't even had a chance to catch his breath when Bei Liu Hu came over.
"Ayan, I heard you've arranged to fight the Uchiha kids tonight? Is that true?"
An Yan raised an eyebrow. Did the news spread this fast? The students must be too idle! He had just finished arranging the fight, and the news had already spread from the fourth grade to the second grade?
There was no need for An Yan to hide anything from Bei Liu Hu, so he simply nodded and admitted it.
Hiruko was extremely excited. Ever since he mastered the Rasengan, he had felt like a hero with no use for his skills, possessing the art of slaying dragons but having no dragons to slay. Now, he could finally put his skills to use.
Seeing how excited he was, An Yan quickly said a few words to calm him down.
"Don't overthink it. In the end, we're all classmates from the same village. It's just a simple sparring session. Even if other conflicts do occur, it won't come to the point of using the Rasengan. Don't get so excited that you might use your life force."
Hiruko was a little disappointed upon hearing this.
Seeing this, Tsunade, who had been quietly reading a book, flicked Hiruko on the forehead. Under Hiruko's surprised gaze, Tsunade put her hands on her hips and declared confidently:
"Hiruko, I've noticed that you seem a bit off. How could you possibly think of using such a powerful technique against your fellow villagers? Are you some kind of hidden rogue ninja? Iwa has taught you all my special techniques. If you betray Konoha, just wait and see how I deal with you."
Hiruko cried out in protest, "I was just trying to support Iwa, how is that a sign of a distorted mind? I am an excellent inheritor of the Will of Fire, a pillar of strength for protecting the village in the future, how is that related to betraying Konoha?"
An Yan coughed twice. He had been chatting with Tsunade when he had nothing to do, saying that he dreamed that Hiruko single-handedly started the Fourth Shinobi World War, but was eventually defeated by his own Rasengan.
He simply told a short story to pass the time and alleviate his boredom, but Tsunade seemed to take it to heart and thought it was An'yan's precognitive dream. She kept thinking that Hiruko would turn evil and become the main villain in An'yan's stories.
Anyan had nothing to say about this. Although Hiruko did become the main villain in a certain movie, that was a world without Anyan. With his arrival, everything had already changed.
An Yan didn't believe that Hiruko would betray Konoha in the future. The two of them had very different personalities. The Hiruko in front of him was much more lively, and he didn't have the inferiority complex that Hiruko showed when mentioning the Sannin in the movie.
After more than a year of intense training under the two "Scroll Kings," An Yan and Tsunade, Hiruko's spirit and will had already transformed, and her personality had changed. She had transformed from an insecure and sensitive child into someone who was fearless and unafraid of hard water. With this kind of personality, there was no possibility of her turning evil.
Those who can survive around the King of Scrolls are not weak on a psychological level.
Tsunade actually knew that Hiruko was fine; she was just feeling a bit frustrated with her studies and wanted to use Hiruko as an excuse to calm down and relieve some of the pressure.
Time quickly passed and it was time to leave school.
Training ground No. 13.
Almost everyone from An Yan's class came. When they heard that the top student in their class was going to challenge an older student, they got excited immediately. Without much encouragement, they all came to support An Yan.
An Yan expressed his deep gratitude for this.
When Uchiha Koken arrived at the training ground, he was startled.
Good grief, so many people, are they going to gang up on me?
I only brought two people with me. °(°?????°)°.
Uchiha Mitsukasa only brought two people with him: Sarutobi Shinnosuke and Akimichi Meme.
The Uchiha clan has never had many friends in the village; everyone isolates them, and the Uchiha clan isolates everyone in return.
Both of them became friends with Uchiha Mitsukasa because of their fathers' relationship.
Sarutobi Shinnosuke is the son of Sarutobi Hiruzen.
Akimichi Mei is the daughter of Akimichi Torifu.
Hiruzen Sarutobi and Torifu Akimichi were fellow disciples of Kagami Uchiha, and their relationship spanned over a decade from childhood to adulthood, making them extremely close.
They were close in age and got married around the same time, so their children were naturally the same age. The elders were close, and the younger generation naturally played together.
In full view.
An Yan and Uchiha Koken formed a seal of opposition.
The next moment, the two of them jumped back at the same time to create distance between them.
Almost simultaneously, the two of them swung their hands in unison, and various shuriken of different sizes collided, scattering sparks in the air.
As the shuriken flew behind An Yan, Uchiha Kōken pulled with both hands, and specially made threads quietly appeared, guiding the shuriken to change its direction of attack. Several threads directly bound An Yan.
An Yan sneered, threw a smoke bomb on the spot, and disappeared instantly.
The shuriken sliced through the air and was retrieved by Uchiha Kōken. He did not launch another shuriken, but instead took out a kunai from his ninja tool pouch and became alert.
In the next instant, three arrows came rapidly from three directions. Uchiha Mitsukasa's expression changed, and he did two backflips on the spot, only to find that the arrows were not aimed at him, but at the ground around him.
Three arrows surrounded him in a triangular formation, the burning, unidentified liquid on the arrows sealing off all three sides, forming three walls of fire. The only opening was above, but Uchiha Kōken didn't think he could dodge An'an's attack while he was in the air.
The Uchiha clan are all experts in fire manipulation. The "wood" in Konoha comes from Hashirama Senju's Wood Release, while the "fire" in Hokage comes from the Uchiha clan's Fire Release. This was decided by the First Hokage and Madara Uchiha. No one can manipulate fire better than the Uchiha.
Seeing An Yan playing with fire in front of him, Uchiha Mitsukasa laughed.
He glanced around for a moment, then began to form hand seals. A massive fireball erupted from his mouth, blasting away the wall of fire and rockets in front of him, instantly escaping danger.
Just as he escaped danger, another arrow flew in, precisely when Uchiha Kokan had exhausted his old power and had not yet generated new power, piercing straight into his eye.
Uchiha Kōken was shocked and quickly turned his head to dodge.
In the next instant, the arrow transformed into An Yan, who pressed his palm against Uchiha Koken's back, sealing his limbs again.
Uchiha Kokan was paralyzed and unable to move.
Sarutobi Shinnosuke rushed forward, blocking An Yan's path, and shouted, "We admit defeat, please don't hurt Hikari!"
An Yan shoved him aside with a slap. Who wanted to hurt Uchiha Mitsukasa? You're just being dramatic!
He casually released the seal on Uchiha Koken and then smiled as he formed the Reconciliation Seal.
"Let's get acquainted. I'm An Yan, the top student in the second year."
With slightly trembling hands, Uchiha Koken formed a reconciliation seal towards An Yan.
"An Yan, very good, I'll remember you."
Chapter 16 Bonfire Party
Amid cheers from his classmates, An Yan defeated Uchiha Koken.
Seeing this, Sarutobi Shinnosuke felt very unhappy. He jumped out and stood in the center of the training field, challenging An Yan to turn the tide and restore the honor of the fourth-year students.
An Yan smiled and turned to Tsunade: "Do you want to test his strength?"
Tsunade rolled her eyes and said irritably, "They want to challenge you."
An Yan spread his hands and said, "Most of my ninjutsu are extremely lethal, and it's easy to lose control of them."
Hiruko stepped forward, looking eager to try: "I'll test the strength of the fourth-year students."
An Yan raised an eyebrow. He was quite confident in Tsunade's strength, but less so in Hiruko. However, since Hiruko had stood up for him, he didn't want to undermine her confidence. He simply whispered, "Be careful. If things get too bad, retreat."
Hiruko nodded, turned around, and faced Sarutobi Shinnosuke standing in the center of the training field. He calmly said, "If you want to challenge the top student in our grade, you'll have to get past me first."
Sarutobi Shinnosuke frowned as he looked at the unremarkable white-haired brat before him, displeased. Another commoner ninja.
Can't you commoner ninjas have any respect for ninjas from ninja clans? How can you all be so arrogant?
Sarutobi Shinnosuke didn't look down on ninjas from commoner backgrounds; it was just that there was a significant difference in strength between them. So when he faced an unknown commoner, he felt underestimated.
"An Yan, do you think just anyone can challenge me?"
Hiruko was already standing in the center of the field, forming the opposing hand seals, but Sarutobi Shinnosuke ignored him and instead turned to look at An'an, who was chatting and laughing with Tsunade to the side.
Hearing Sarutobi Shinnosuke's words and seeing that Hiruko hadn't received the respect she deserved after forming the opposition seal, An Yan's temper flared up, and he said coldly:
"Shinnosuke Sarutobi, now, you are the challenger!"
Upon hearing An Yan's words, Sarutobi Shinnosuke gritted his teeth, turned around, formed a confrontational hand seal with Hiruko, and said through gritted teeth:
"I hope you won't disappoint me, junior, or I'll be very angry."
Hiruko simply smiled and did not answer.
Sarutobi Shinnosuke was instantly enraged. Arrogant guys like Anyan were the type he disliked.
Ninja trainees, and even genin, only use a few attack methods in fights: the Three Body Technique combined with shuriken and kunai for taijutsu attacks, with almost no impressive moves.
The two fought as usual, throwing shuriken at each other to see who had the better basic skills. Whoever had the worse basic skills would be kited. However, Hiruko's shuriken throwing accuracy was far superior to that of his peers, as he had put in a lot of hard work.
Then comes close-quarters combat with kunai, which tests one's physical skills.
Hiruko was younger and not as strong as Sarutobi Shinnosuke. After a few rounds of kunai clashes, Hiruko's kunai was predictably knocked away. He exclaimed in surprise and turned around to pick up his kunai.
The students watching gasped in surprise, and An Yan immediately prepared for a rescue.
Sarutobi Shinnosuke suspected a trap, but confident in his superior strength compared to Hiruko, he went straight for it. Hiruko dodged his attack with a feint, and just as he was about to continue his attack, a handful of yellow sand covered his eyes.
As Sarutobi Shinnosuke covered his eyes, a chill ran down his spine; he knew he was going to lose.
Hiruko delivered a powerful elbow strike to the heart, sending Sarutobi Shinnosuke crashing to the ground. It took him a while to catch his breath.
When Hiruko won, the students cheered loudly. It might be an exception for one person to beat a fourth-grade student, but when two people can beat each other, it's not an exception. This can only prove one thing: our Class 2A is awesome!
When Sarutobi Shinnosuke regained his sight, Hiruko was already forming the Seal of Reconciliation in front of him.
Sarutobi Shinnosuke wanted to shout, "This round doesn't count! Let's start over! I still have a special move I haven't used yet! My newly mastered Fire Release: Ash Pile Burning!"
However, Sarutobi Shinnosuke understood even more clearly that he had already lost. If he were to go to the battlefield, he would already be dead. The enemy wouldn't care whether you used your special move or not; if you didn't use it, then you didn't have a special move.
Well, although I lost, I learned a trick called "sand blindfold," so I gained something from it. Gaining something means I didn't lose; in fact, I won, and won a small victory.
Sarutobi Shinnosuke comforted himself, forced himself to form the reconciliation seal with Hiruko, then turned back to Uchiha Mitsukasa's side, bowed his head and apologized: "I'm sorry, Mitsukasa, I couldn't stand up for you."
Uchiha Mitsukasa smiled at him and comforted him, "It's alright, Shinnosuke, you've done a great job."
Sarutobi Shinnosuke felt his face burning; he had actually lost to a lower-grade student, and one who was even a commoner ninja. He decided to train for two extra hours every day from now on, realizing he must have been slacking off lately.
Akimichi Meme, standing to the side, rubbed her stomach, feeling a little hungry. She looked at Uchiha Mitsukasa and asked, "I missed lunch today and I'm a bit hungry. Shall we go out and grab something to eat together?"
Upon hearing Akimichi Meme's words, Sarutobi Shinnosuke felt his wallet was about to be emptied again. The last time they went out for a get-together, he had spent all the pocket money he had saved up for a long time. The Akimichi clan really can eat too much.
An Yan, who was standing nearby, walked over with Hiruko and Tsunade and said, "If you don't mind, you can come to my place for a bite. I just hunted a giant wild boar yesterday, enough for us to eat."
Uchiha Mitsukasa gave An Yan a deep look, then glanced at his companions. When he saw the expectation on Akimichi Meme's face, he suddenly smiled and said, "It would be my honor."
So An Yan gave a call, and everyone rushed to An Yan's house.
"Wow, is this the chief's house? It's so simple."
