Chapter 475 Fighting the Apprentice Priest

Chapter 475 Fighting the Apprentice Priest

Field took one last deep breath and leaped out of the bunker.

The amusement park's secret evacuation plan was still discovered by the Sky Cultists lurking there, a sign that their actions in the amusement park had been noticed by the official organizers.

So the Skywalkers decided on the spur of the moment to begin their planned operation before nightfall.

They are about to hold a great sacrifice here, using countless lives as a medium to merge into a tremendous spiritual force, providing their sky god with a possibility of sneaking across the solar system barrier within the barrier.

The decrease in the number of people undoubtedly represents the dissipation of ritual energy. The Sky Cult has swarmed out, targeting the various facilities of the amusement park, creating panic and destruction, and trying to imprison the lives of tourists in this cursed paradise forever.

Field didn't know where the cultists were, and he wanted to use divination to find their location, but his spiritual intuition gave him a stern warning.

These corrupted Skywalkers must not be divined, must not be visited, and must not be used as secret partners.

In other words, once a mystical connection is established with them, under the authority of assimilation and homogenization, the contamination in the Sky Cultists will immediately flow to Field, and the exalted Sky God can also discover these destructive little rats through assimilation and homogenization.

One wrong step and everything is lost. At best, you'll be corrupted by the power of the Sky God; at worst, you'll be completely discovered by the Sky God, attracting his evil and terrifying gaze. Not only will your resurgence plan be exposed, but you'll also be crushed to dust by the Sky God in the strongest way, shaking your most basic self-awareness and providing the opponent with a precise opportunity to assimilate you.

That's really bad news.

Although Field himself, as an incomplete illusion, is inextricably linked to the source matter and will not be affected by this contamination, it is still troublesome to have his identity discovered, as it could easily expose the entire counterattack plan.

The good news is that the guys who caused trouble in the amusement park weren't high-ranking core members; most of them were just low-ranking cannon fodder, with mid-ranking team leaders occasionally appearing in the crowd.

"That person is the guy who just followed the magician!"

"He's not dead yet!"

As the Skywalkers spotted the approaching Field, they drew their guns and opened fire. But all Field left them with were a trail of black flames and black paper figures.

As the Skywalker reloaded, Field had already leaped behind someone in a fiery leap. The man only felt something cold against his temple, and before he could react, a black bullet had already blown his head off.

Black flames, centered on the wound, devoured the cultist's body, leaving only a clean and extraordinary mark, while the jet-black bullet vanished without a trace.

After pulling the trigger, Field paid no attention to the cultist who had been shot. He immediately turned around with his submachine gun, pulled the trigger, and opened fire, taking away the remaining three Sky Tower cultists who had just shot at him.

In just a few seconds, the makeshift trench fell silent. Amidst the swirling black smoke, Field wiped his face, instinctively rubbing the red, yellow, and white stains onto the still-burnt corpse beside him. He then smelled his hand to check if it was clean, and then let out a soft moan.

I forgot that this is a submachine gun, not a pistol.

Next time I won't get so close; it exploded right in my face, it scared me to death.

He sat under a makeshift shelter, pulled a wisp of black smoke from his long braid behind him, and with an outstretched hand, it transformed into a magazine, which he skillfully changed.

Taking a deep breath and carefully distinguishing the various sounds in the air and the spiritual guidance, Field ran in a certain direction.

For various reasons, Field's extraordinary abilities are somewhat less than those of a typical Sequence 7 magician, but his exceptional inspiration and powerful combat instincts not only compensate for this, but also, with the added benefit of his weapons, make him an outstanding fighter. Along the way, there are almost no cultists who can stop him.

Some mid-level Sky God Cult novice priests noticed the anomaly and rushed to help, intending to eliminate this enormous threat.

An opinion leader was the first to arrive at the scene. This was the sixth sequence of the flag pathway controlled by the God of Sky, representing the authority of the "same".

She sped over on her motorcycle, threw off her helmet, and shouted.

"I propose that everyone stand still!"

At the suggestion of the opinion leader, all the surrounding believers stood still. She stepped on the gas and sped towards Field, pressing a button, and the two machine guns on the front of the vehicle began to fire bullets forward.

He floored the accelerator, turned the steering wheel to its limit, and the motorcycle spun in place. A dense barrage of high-speed bullets, almost like two deadly whips, lashed out at Field, blocking all his escape routes.

However, to the opinion leader's surprise, Field was not affected by his "proposal" and instead came to him.

Two legs can't outrun a motorcycle and bullets. With a bang, Field turned into black shreds of paper and disappeared from the opinion leader's perception.

This guy was like a ghost, completely invisible. Not only were extraordinary abilities ineffective against him, but he was also undetectable by spiritual perception. Spiritual warnings were utterly paralyzed by him, and opinion leaders could only rely on combat experience to deduce his actions.

She immediately revved the engine, sped off the battlefield, and started circling the broken amusement park equipment.

In martial arts, speed is the ultimate weapon. Although we don't know what this guy is up to, unleashing a barrage of attacks and high-speed movement is undoubtedly the best defense.

Sure enough, Field, who was hiding in the ruins, was immediately subdued and dared not move.

Extraordinary power had no effect, but the power of physics terrified him, and the opinion leader quickly figured it out.

The already battered ruins of machinery became even more scarred under the continued barrage of fire. The once beautiful and vibrant, colorful shells were reduced to countless tiny, colorful fragments scattered across the sorrowful ruins. Through the gaps in the steel and wooden planks, the opinion leader could see the terrified face hidden beneath the shattered colors…

As if sensing something, the person hiding under the ruins turned around and abruptly met the eyes of the opinion leader.

There was no fear or apprehension, only a detached indifference devoid of joy or sorrow, and a pair of unfathomable, hollow eyes as deep as a black hole.

One glance was enough to send chills down the spine of the opinion leader.

Wait...that's not right!

The opinion leader suddenly sensed that the situation was not good.

The other side wants to wage a war of attrition!

The reason he hid was that he wanted to take advantage of his eagerness to eliminate unstable factors and gamble on a certain chance of triggering his own firepower to consume ammunition and batteries!

Damn it, he actually made the right bet.

If he can hold out long enough, he can wait until the opinion leader runs out of ammunition on the motorcycle and then launch a counterattack!
