Chapter 1105: You Aren’t Right for Each Other

Chapter 1105: You Aren’t Right for Each Other

Stella Charlie and Mrs. Owens were chatting and laughing, when Owen Orwell returned to the dining room with his second aunt. When Stella Charlie saw that the "second aunt" was a familiar face, the smile on her face instantly froze.

Mrs. Owens immediately stood up to greet her: "Second Sister, come sit. Didn’t Sean say he was coming too? Didn’t he come with you?"

"He ran into someone he knows downstairs, he’ll be up after chatting a bit, let’s eat first, don’t wait for him."

Stella Charlie instinctively lowered her head, but Mom Warner still spotted her immediately.

Thinking that Stella was present because Vincent Warner was coming, before anyone could react, Mom Warner stepped forward and slapped Stella across the face, cursing, "You shameless woman, you’re still alive?! How dare you show your face here?!"

Owen Orwell’s parents were taken aback, and Owen immediately stepped forward to shield Stella: "Second Aunt, did you misunderstand something?"

Mrs. Owens also hurriedly stepped in to mediate: "Yes, Second Sister, this is Stella, the girl Owen is seeing."

"Owen’s girl?" Mom Warner chuckled mockingly, pointing at Stella and scolding: "You’re really cunning, aren’t you? When you couldn’t get our Sean, you went for his cousin instead?"

The Owens Family sensed something, and Mom Warner made it clear: "Third Sister, she’s the mistress I told you about before, our Sean’s divorce is all because of her! This kind of impure woman shouldn’t be around, Owen, you better not associate with her!"

Vincent Warner reached the dining room entrance and overheard his mother’s tirade.

Following everyone’s gaze, he finally saw Stella being protected in Owen Orwell’s arms.

It was only at this moment he realized that the girl his cousin said he was seeing turned out to be her.

Owen Orwell looked at Stella with a questioning gaze, as if asking her if those words were true.

Stella didn’t explain anything, just didn’t expect the world to be so small that she would be entangled with the Warner again.

She merely said "Sorry" to Owen Orwell before grabbing her bag and leaving.

Vincent Warner, standing at the door, reached out to grab her arm, frowning at her, as if he had something to say, but held back because of the current situation.

Stella shook off his hand forcefully and quickly walked downstairs.

Owen Orwell chased after her, grabbing Stella outside the restaurant entrance: "Stella, I don’t mean anything else, even if everything my second aunt said is true, I don’t care. Those are all in the past, I only want your present and future."

"I understand, but I don’t want you to be in a difficult position. You can totally find another woman with good conditions; there’s no need to have unpleasantness with your family because of me."

"I will explain everything to my parents, I’ll handle the family matters, don’t worry."

Stella noticed Vincent Warner not far away and felt somewhat embarrassed due to their cousin relationship.

Owen Orwell followed Stella’s gaze and turned his head back, locking eyes with Vincent Warner, and naturally released his hand from Stella’s arm.

Vincent Warner walked over, looking at Stella and then at Owen Orwell.

"Cousin," Owen Orwell greeted politely.

Vincent Warner remained silent for a moment, then spoke to Owen Orwell: "You two aren’t suitable."

Owen subtly moved closer to Stella: "I don’t care what happened between Stella and you in the past, but since you two have already separated, Stella and I have the right to be together."

Vincent Warner’s expression turned gloomy, his gaze fell on Stella, but he spoke to Owen Orwell: "You don’t mind that I slept with her?"
