Hogwarts and the Atypical Wizard

Chapter 284: Three Powerful Gatherings (Continued)

Chapter 284: Three Powerful Gatherings (Continued)

The students continued to wait for the Durmstrang people in the dim light, and everyone looked up at the sky in the distance, thinking that they would also come from the sky.

Of course, this is not the case. If they all flew over, it would seem too uncreative.

"Did you hear anything?"

"What sound?"

"Like a sound of inhaling."

"It seems so. I heard it too."

"Where did it come from?"

"It seemed like from the Black Lake side, there was a giant vacuum cleaner crawling across the bottom of the lake."

“What is a vacuum cleaner?”

"A kind of machine... Oh, forget it, just look at the lake!"

Everyone turned their eyes to the lake, which was sparkling under the lights of the castle.

The moon had risen. With the weak light from the sky, everyone looked carefully at the lake. "What is that? It's in the water!"

The students stood on the grass slope in front of the castle, overlooking the lake. The lake was no longer calm. There was a huge black shadow moving quickly under the water. Suddenly, huge splashes began to roll on the water, and the waves formed hit the lakeshore.

Following the huge splash, a huge whirlpool appeared on the lake, and it seemed that a huge flood discharge channel had formed underneath.

A thick, black, straight pole poked out from the center of the vortex, followed by a long horizontal bar.

"That's the sail!" someone shouted.

Under the mast, a huge and strange ship with extraordinary momentum slowly emerged from the water!

The shape of this ship doesn't give people a very decent feeling. It looks like the wreckage of a shipwreck that has just been fished out from the bottom of the sea, with a dim light coming from the portholes.

This ship gives people the feeling of a skeleton dug out from a grave with all its flesh and blood rotted away. One is the skeleton of a person, and the other is the skeleton of a ship!

With a loud splash, the entire boat jumped out of the water, then split the undulating water surface and headed towards the lake.

After reaching the shore, a huge iron anchor was thrown into the water, and a long wooden board extended from the boat to the shore.

After the boat stopped, people started to get off the boat. They were all strong and wearing fur cloaks!

When the current leader, dressed in a suit of silver-white fur, walked up the ramp he called out enthusiastically, "Dumbledore! My dear old fellow, how are you!"

Dumbledore also responded enthusiastically, "Excellent, thank you, Karkaroff! Welcome to Hogwarts!"

When Karkaroff walked under the light, everyone saw his appearance. His hair was as white as his fur coat. He was tall and thin, very similar to Dumbledore, but his beard was not as beautiful as Dumbledore's. It was a goatee with curled ends.

The two headmasters shook hands warmly in front of the crowd. "Dear old friend," Karkaroff looked at the Hogwarts Castle, "This is Hogwarts! It's really nice here! It's great!"

The headmaster of Durmstrang looked at the castle and smiled, but Sainz found that there was no smile in his eyes, only indifference and sharpness. Perhaps many people could see this because he did not hide it at all.

This person is not the same type as Principal Maxim. He obviously has a stronger sense of utilitarianism and comparison. Sure enough, the next sentence is about comparison. "Come here, Viktor, come and warm up. Do you mind, Dumbledore?" A very strong student among the visitors was summoned by Karkaroff.

"Victor has caught a cold because he trained too hard..."

The student had two thick black eyebrows and a striking hooked nose. Even Saiens, who was not interested in Quidditch, recognized this face, not to mention other students. He often appeared in newspapers some time ago.

"Merlin! It's Krum! It's Krum!"

Yes, he was the talented player who took the Quidditch world by storm some time ago, the Seeker of the Bulgarian National Quidditch Team.

Hearing the students' exclamations, Karkaroff smiled with satisfaction.

After receiving the guests, the students all spread out and followed the guests to the castle. Sainz heard many people in the crowd discussing asking Krum for an autograph, and several girls were searching through all their pockets. "I don't even have a pen with me. I can't believe it!"

"I found it. I have a lipstick. Do you think he would be willing to sign my wizard robes with it?"

"I think he would rather sign my hat with this lipstick."

"Hey, that's mine!"

Then several girls started to fight together. They seemed to be sixth-year students from Gryffindor. Sainz looked over and fortunately his two friends were not among them, otherwise he would have to consider whether such "brainless people" were worth making further friends with.

The Beauxbatons students who arrived first had already sat down at the Ravenclaw table, and the group of Durmstrang who came later were naturally attracted by the Slytherin students who had similar temperaments to them, and sat down next to their long table.

At the staff table, Filch had already placed the necessary chairs. He was wearing an old, musty-smelling tuxedo, and it was obvious that he had dressed up specially for today's event.

The hall was unusually warm. The students of Durmstrang took off their fur coats. Sainz noticed that they were looking at the ceiling above their heads curiously and picking up the polished gold plates on the table to look at them carefully.

It seems that their school is not very wealthy?

After the students were seated, several headmasters walked towards the faculty table together. When the students from Durmstrang saw their professors, they all stood up immediately, causing the students from the other two schools to burst into laughter, but they didn't seem embarrassed at all.

Durmstrang has a lot of rules. It doesn't look like a school at all. It's more like one of those old-fashioned magic organizations with strict hierarchy.

After seeing this, Sainz didn't take it to heart. They could do whatever they wanted as long as they didn't bother Sainz.

"Hagrid, are you done?"

"Finally they're all locked up!" whispered Hagrid. "Don't worry, nothing's going to happen."

"Okay, come on, the other professors are already seated."

Sainz sat with Hagrid at the edge of the staff bench. He noticed that the moment Moody saw Karkaroff, his magic eye no longer looked anywhere else.

Karkaroff felt very uncomfortable being stared at, and could no longer maintain the fake smile on his face. It was only when Dumbledore walked over and whispered something to Moody before sitting down that his magic eye turned in other directions.

Because of Moody's presence, Karkaroff has changed his arrogant appearance when he first came, and he no longer uses the exaggerated "my dear old friend" when speaking!

This was the first time Sainz had looked at the entire auditorium from the staff seats. It felt like he was standing on the podium looking at students in the classroom. All the movements were clear at a glance.

He saw the twins and Angelina complaining at the Gryffindor table, and Ben and Adam at the Hufflepuff table were also complaining. To his senses, it was just like standing next to them. He could hear everything they said clearly, and the content was surprisingly consistent, all of which showed the psychological gap between the stage and the audience.

Once again, they felt the oppression from "other people's children"!
