Although he turned his head to scan his surroundings, most of his attention remained firmly drawn to the silver wolf.
Silver Wolf's legs spewed air, moving with lightning speed, leaving afterimages in its wake. However, Spa was faster, and the distance between them closed in an instant.
Before long, the distance between the two sides was less than five meters.
Silver Wolf stopped in his tracks.
Spah stopped, glancing around out of the corner of his eye. He noticed that the cabin environment was vastly different from the outside; it was pitch black. He could only see about five meters ahead; the rest was completely enveloped in darkness.
It looks like... we've entered uncharted territory.
Spall pondered to himself, feeling the cold wind howling and rustling beside him, brushing past his ears and then blowing in front of the silver wolf.
Spall gazed at the silver wolf, a slight smile playing on his lips, and gave a soft yawn before speaking:
"Surrender now, you little wolf cub. You can avoid suffering while you still can."
"Who's surrendering... If you're so capable, catch me first!"
Silver Wolf extended his index finger and pulled down his right eyelid:
"Who's in Punk Lords, always following me around like a shadow, eating my exhaust fumes! Hehehe."
"Exhaust fumes? You mean the smoke from your butt on fire? That's awful... That time, when you saw me, you didn't even care that you were on fire, you ran away in a panic. Finally, how mature is your butt?"
Spah blinked, stretched out his finger, picked up a piece of popcorn, stuffed it into his mouth, and then curled his lips into a soft "hehe" laugh.
"You son of a bitch! Get over here right now!"
The silver wolf stomped its legs on the ground.
"No! It should be 'You have come,' 'y/u)=*e-'"
Spah extended his index finger and beckoned to the silver wolf.
"But Spa is nothing... Come here!"
"Come here if you dare!"
"Come here... Fuck, I'm not going to waste my breath on you, take this killer move!"
As he spoke, Silver Wolf summoned a virtual keyboard, his index finger twitching and clicking away.
Spall knew that Silver Wolf's [Ether Editing] skills were so high that he dared not let her complete the action without permission. With a quick glance, he took out his pulse gun, aimed at Silver Wolf's right rib, and pulled the trigger.
Golden light pierced the air, releasing intense heat that compressed the surrounding scenery, reflecting the slightly changed face of the silver wolf.
Before long, golden light pierced through the silver wolf's chest.
But the next second, Silver Wolf reappeared not far away, his fingers continuing to tap away at the keyboard.
As for her original location, a dark purple sphere had appeared in the space. The sphere twisted and deformed, then disappeared in an instant.
"slightly"
Silver Wolf stuck out her tongue, her hand movements gradually quickening. Spall observed her gestures, and only then did he realize what she was trying to do.
Ether Realm!
Silver Wolf... she wants to pull me into her own game world.
Spah raised an eyebrow, initially intending to continue firing to disrupt the opponent's attack, but then he changed his mind and abandoned the idea.
You're playing with the Ether Realm... then I'll get one too!
Spah is highly competitive. Although he knows that Silver Wolf's hacking skills are far superior to his, he still wants to go head-to-head with him.
Hmph, in other areas, I might not be as good as you...
However, opening up a domain is a professional treasure for protecting one's destiny. Grandpa's moves are faster than yours!
Besides, even if you succeed in opening your domain, you're still no match for me!
Spare thought to himself, but his hands moved with great care, crackling and scrambling rapidly.
Silver Wolf glanced at Spa, a slight smirk playing on his lips, and increased his hand speed even further. Spa, not to be outdone, flicked his wrist, doubling his speed.
Amidst the rapid clicking and clattering, afterimages appeared on both of their hands, and even the virtual keyboard emitted orange-red sparks.
Sweat dripped onto the ground, but the two paid no attention, focusing solely on typing. Finally…
Snapped!
Both parties press Enter simultaneously.
The dark purple domain, centered on the two of them, spread outwards and soon collided with them.
boom!
A loud bang rang out, and crackling sounds followed as purple lightning flashed at the point of impact, only to be quickly extinguished.
In the blink of an eye, the two domains merged into one.
Spah saw that within countless latent memory domains, turmoil was raging, friction and collision were occurring, and countless fragments of memory were being ejected.
The disturbance in memory gradually subsided.
But the next second, they suddenly expanded and spread, engulfing Spa and the silver wolf, and then fell silent again.
A string of memories simultaneously flooded into their minds.
Chapter 16 Punk Lord's Rainy Night
Blood...the smell of blood is so strong!
Spare shook his head, frowned, and heard a rustling sound in his ears. He looked up and saw the rain pouring down like a celestial river overflowing its banks.
Rain soaked his hair, which dripped to the ground. Spah saw the water was knee-deep, a bright red color, the color of blood.
This scene... seems familiar?
Spa looked around and saw the ground covered in dark brown scorched earth, littered with garbage and remnants of burning. In the distance, colorful lights shimmered, painting the entire sky with vibrant hues.
This is... Punk Lord?
But wasn't I just in the space station?
Let me think about it...
Holy crap! It's a memory clash! When two people simultaneously activate their ethereal domains, they'll be trapped in shared fragments of memory.
Spah rolled his eyes, still thinking about something, when suddenly his ears twitched as he heard a rustling sound.
He turned his head and saw a pile of rusty metal, stacked into a high hill. The metal hill shook violently, the shaking becoming more and more intense.
Boom!
An arm emerged from the hillside.
The arm looked strange. One half was human skin, covered with bright red flesh, while the other half was a metal structure, crackling with electricity.
crunch
The sound of gears grinding filled the air. Spall saw the mechanical arm strain, and a cyborg crawled out of the pile of metal.
The cyborg's left eyeball was also mechanical, glued to its socket, creaking and groaning as it darted around, staring at Spa.
Is it cyberpsychosis?
Spah pursed his lips and conjured a revolver, but before he could make a move, he caught a glimpse of another person walking by.
The person was wearing a vest, with their skin exposed, and looked no different from an ordinary human.
Upon closer inspection, Spall discovered that the other person's facial features had been distorted and replaced with mechanical components.
The man's eyes darted around, and he pushed off the ground with his feet, rushing towards the cyborg from before. He then flicked out a chop to the throat.
hiss
Red blood spurted out, and the cyborg fell backward.
However, before falling to the ground, the cyborg suddenly raised his foot and kicked the attacker in the stomach, making a cracking sound as it went straight through.
Both cyborgs died.
Even though he had witnessed this scene before, Spah still felt a chill run down his spine, and his fists clenched involuntarily.
By implanting viruses into mechanical prosthetics, you turn living people into madmen who kill each other... You really are something, Governor of the Neon City!
Back then... I really let him die too easily.
Spa pursed his lips, biting them until they bled bright red.
Despite his anger, he remained calm, lowered his center of gravity, and kept his eyes scanning the surroundings, wary of any enemy attack.
Wow!
A cyberpsychotic rushed in.
Spa casually sidestepped and delivered a swift chop, stunning his opponent and causing all the mechanical parts to short-circuit.
However, before Spah could catch his breath, he heard a rustling sound again.
Spa looked up and saw nearly a hundred cyborgs emerging from the crowd, their eyes bloodshot, charging towards him.
Halfway there, the cyborgs, suffering from cyberbullying, started fighting amongst themselves. Even so, a dozen or so still managed to reach them.
Spah clenched his fists and smashed them down on their heads with his bare hands.
Gunshots suddenly rang out. More than a dozen cyborgs fell to the ground.
! !
!!!
Nearly a hundred cyborgs, who were once full of energy, now collapsed to the ground like machines without power.
"Don't worry, they're not dead... I created an antidote program; they were just injected. Understand? Spare Papa."
Upon hearing the familiar voice, Spah was slightly taken aback.
He looked up and saw Silver Wolf grinning, sitting in a beat-up car, blowing bubble gum and swinging his legs.
"Hehe, you stinky Spa, you get it now, right?"
Silver Wolf raised his head high, revealing his fair chin: "I wasn't the one who caused the massacre of ten thousand people... Don't be like a stinky mosquito, buzzing around and chasing after me!"
“Who wants to date you? Do you think you’re that good-looking? Do you think you’re some kind of robin?” Spa yawned.
"you you you you……"
"Of course I know, it was that mad scientist [Governor] who did it. I'll make him taste the bullets of the hunting party!"
After saying that, Spall turned and left.
The next second, he turned around and pointed his gun at Silver Wolf.
Snapped!
The bullet left the barrel and grazed the silver wolf's neck.
"Ugh!"
The silver wolf howled and jumped aside.
"Hey! Are you crazy?"
The silver wolf bared its teeth and put its hands on its hips.
"First of all, I didn't call you 'Hey'! Secondly, everyone knows... this is just a world of memories. I was just playing along with you."
Spare turned the dial, aimed his pistol at the silver wolf's ear, and then moved it slightly, half a centimeter.
"What is the world of memories? I don't understand."
"Oh."
Spare cocked the gun with a click. He also shifted his position, aiming it at Silver Wolf's forehead.
Snapped!
The bullet flew out and pierced through the silver wolf's skull.
The next second, the silver wolf disappeared and reappeared two meters away.
"Waaah, don't shout about fighting! Waaah... I just thought you were taking it a little too seriously, so I was just joking..."
Silver Wolf pouted, revealing a wronged expression.
